a seasonal restaurant in Malsch, which still seems open, most of the year surrounded by gentle hills and apple gardens. I recommend the scavenger, winzersteak and fresh homemade chips (or claws when they are British) especially. the portions are huge and. the prices really good. it also has a large traditional German atmosphere and fast service. Maybe they want to check their website beforehand to make sure they are open. they can also buy wine in their shop next door. a walk afterwards is also worth when the weather is correct.
Die Portionen waren schon immer üppig und die Preise günstig. In den letzten Jahren hat die Qualität immer mehr abgebaut. Z.B. gab es früher noch gute Bratkartoffeln, jetzt gibt es nur noch Kartoffeln aus der Fritteuse.Auch die Qualität des Fleisches hat abgenommen und der Wein ist leider auch nicht mehr trinkbar, da er einen eigentümlich chemischen Beigeschmack hat. Da kann man dann auch nicht mehr ein Auge bei dem völlig überfordeten Personal zudrücken.Sehr schade, denn die Besenwirtschaft liegt sehr schön.
Went with friends to specifically enjoy the special dish of the day. We arrived around 6:30pm and were told that the special had already sold out some time ago, which we found hard to believe. It appeared that there was no proper planning as they should have anticipated a sizeable crowd on that day.Place was of course crowded and we had to wait for some time. Service obviously could not be fantastic as the waitresses were rushing all the time.Food was ok but nothing to should about.

Eating was okay, but nothing to do.
this place is more and less fully booked when it is open, but even if full, they always get a place when they are patient. eating is local and in large portions, and the wee they serve is from their own weeping mountains. because of so many people who visit the place, the waiters can seem quite stressed. but since the besenwirtschaft is something really German, I would recommend a visit there.
Nach einem anstrengenden Tag hier zum Essen eingekehrt. Wahnsinn! Preis - Leistung stehen in keiner Relation. Zu solch humanen Preisen diese riesigen Portionen die kaum zu schaffen sind; einfach der Wahnsinn...Völlerei auf qualitativ höchstem Niveau. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!
Leider können wir keine volle Punktzahl geben, obwohl es das wegen der Location(zwischen den Apfelbäumen) und dem guten Essen verdient hätte. Die Bedienung war leider nicht grad freundlich und scheinbar auch etwas überfordert. Trotzdem werden wir es nochmal probieren!
