Best Little Oarhouse in Nova Scotia

I have been on a quest to find great fish and chips, but have been disappointed by reviews of frozen fries, not fresh fish, and gross tartar sauce. I have dined all over Nova Scotia due to my job, and finally, I have found the perfect spot. The fish was flakey and fresh, the batter was not greasy and perfectly cooked, and the fries were delicious on their own but even better with vinegar. I was recommended to try this place after expressing my struggle to find good fish and chips as a fisherman's son. Have often heard and read about this place in bridgewater nova Scotia. So hubby and I decided to try it out, and we weren't disappointed. They had recently moved to a new location and the eating establiment was top notch. U can eat in or take out. The man who took our order was very friendly and helpful. We looked at the menu on the wall, and they also have written menus, and they have alot to chose from. We visited this hidden gem a few days ago...the line up mid-afternoon should have given me a clue!! The food was all prepared fresh and to your liking.The Fish Taco was delightful..fresh haddock, fresh made salsa all in a warm tortilla shell...delicious and served with home cut french fries...the owner came around and checked with all patrons..a bright, clean and welcoming room with family style table and a few stools A very comfortable place..if you are in the area and you are hungry..do not miss it!!

All I can say is that I love burgers and the burgers here are great tasting!! Great food!! The menu is slowly expanding and I hope the business does well!!
