I am very happy to have stumbled upon this secret gem. While many have given this spot a good review, I still don't think it has gotten the attention it deserves. Writing positive reviews is one of the most challanging things to do. With that being said there is only one negative thing I can say about this resteraunt which is the prices of their menu items. The prices I would say are justified but still it is tough dealing with those prices. The food is certainly cooked well and very flavorful. The servers are very nice and not intrusive whatsoever. They wont be coming up to you while you eat every five seconds like some other places. Overall I had a wonderful time and will be coming back.
Excellent Turkish food. However, the wait staff is mostly Hispanic (just an observation), so they could not answer some of the questions we had about Turkey. The kebabs that we had were delicious. One negative the waitress forgot to put in my order for soup, so I just said forget it. If you want rice, which comes with the main course, other than the standard brown, white or saffron, there is almost a $4 extra charge, which to me is a bit high. That being said, the cranberry rice that I had, and the cherry rice, that one other in our party had, were excellent. All in all maybe 4.4 or 4.5 stars.
Had a great lunch with colleagues. One of our groups is Persian and was before. She recommended the beef tenderloin Kebab or the ground beef and lamb kebab. I went with the Tenderloin, which was fantastic. Another from the table had beef and lamb and another had mixed vegetables. Everyone really enjoyed it. The part was huge, so it was a great value. Could easily have eaten half and taken home for another complete meal. I look forward to going back and trying other things. Service was friendly and welcoming.
This is a fantastic spot for Mediterranean cuisine. The portions are generous and provide good value for the price. I’m giving it 4 stars mainly because the space can be a bit cramped, especially for families. Be sure to try the Turkish coffee—it’s a must after your meal!
