I've come to Best Wok for almost 30 years, but it wasn't back in a few after the move from the area. However, I recently made a return trip to the Bellevue area and made a B-line from the airport to dinner before I went to my hotel. I was so glad that Best Wok is still strong. My only disappointment is that the dune-in experience is not as lively as it was pre-pandemic. But this is a new life story. Apart from being one of the best Chinese spots in Seattle, it is a local institution known among its regular guests. It is one of those places that is worth enjoying from your way. But if all five star reviews do not convince you, it could help to know that this place has been in business for 38 years, surviving the pandemic and supply and work questions that many, many local restaurants and institutions are closed.
I've been in PNW for 5 months. I'm a lil fanatic about Asian food. It was part of my life since the rise in the northeast. I tried desperately to find a Chinese food restaurant that was similar or better than the eastern coast Chinese food I used (back in NJ/NYC and Florida). I was looking high and low and finally abandoned. I must have overlooked Best Wok in my search because I tried today and it was very good. I'm a fan of presentation? So when I brought my food home, I quickly heated it to the skill and plated it again?. This is the first time I saw egg foo young on a menu, so I knew that Best Wok would be good. The service was nice and friendly. I definitely recommend it if you try? Search for good Chinese food especially from the east coast!
My daughter is looking for the best orange chicken on the east side. A few times a month we choose another Chinese restaurant that has it on their menu. After dinner we discuss their thoughts about eating and compare with previous experiences. Last night we ordered us from Best Wok. In their words, this orange chicken is a 10/10, along with the egg roll (pork), and pot sticker. She ranks Best Wok among her top two on the east side (Great China Restaurant in Kirkland is the other). Very recommended if you take 're cravings Chinese.
