Bete Ethiopian Cuisine Cafe

The chef and owner were extremely hospitable and the food was outstanding. The service was quick and friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The prices for the food were quite reasonable. This is definitely a place that I would visit again. They have a good selection of vegetarian options. Parking is available in a garage right across the street, although it was also within walking distance from my hotel. The service was for dine-in dinner.

I live in Takoma Park/Silver Spring, where there seems to be an Ethiopian restaurant on every corner. Of all the ones I've tried, this one is my favorite. The "vegetarian" options are all vegan - lentil sambusa, tomato salad, and a variety of traditional vegetable dishes. The food is affordable, delicious, and the owners and staff are fantastic. If you're in the area, you should definitely give this place a try!

I tried Ethiopian food for the first time and it exceeded my expectations. We visited the restaurant before watching a movie and it was not very crowded around 6 pm.
