Great tasting food served in generous portions at a great price. For being such a small place, the menu was quite extensive and had a lot to choose from. The hamburger steak meal I had was excellent and included dessert. The service was a bit slower than I would like, that is, the waitress didn 't hustle like many other waitresses at competing restaurants. The interior decor was acceptable, but could use a little updating.

I ordered the pancakes and ham, and the ham was excellent. I also tried the Greek salad and either the short ribs or a kabob. I’ve never been let down by any of my meals. The service is outstanding, and the place is always spotless.

I 've passed this place by for decades and finally stopped in with a friend. I had stuffed cabbage and it was ok at best. Might be best to stick with the house dishes in these scenarios of culinary curiosity.
