We were on 1.01.23 looking for a restaurant that was opened in the evening and landed here. No big expectations had, simply baked cauliflower and a Wiener Schnitzel, each ordered with potato salad. The carving was very well roasted and thin as a shoe sole, correspondingly also very dry. The real problem was, however, the potato salad, which had a strange aftertaste on spicy wood. The host kindly addressed it, he was not aware of any mistakes and everything was good for him. No alternative or a small compensation offered that you wanted to come back. Also in salad leaves with blunt edges that are actually disposed of. We are probably not oversensitive, but you can't offer that. Unfortunately,...
Do not understand the negative comments. We stayed there four times during a week's holiday because it tasted so good and the prices absolutely convinced! Pig roast top, sour roast super! Portions big. The staff was always friendly to us, in particular with the daughter-in-law of the house we had already spoken. Maybe it's always a bit about how to go to people. How to get into the forest.... And that you put yourself at a huge table to an individual....why not? So did nice talks and meet new people. We have absolutely nothing to complain! On the contrary: 38 € for a dinner for three people meat, crisps, salad plates and drinks......where is there anything else?
Good morning lunch. We were totally excited about the food. I had Roulladen and my husband Sauerbraten. Simply brilliant, everything freshly prepared. Very, very friendly staff and the hosts young and old really nice. The restaurant was very cozy and the service was very flotted, totally friendly and there was no waiting time, although the restaurant was fully occupied. Brauereigaststätte Mager in Pottenstein definitely worth a visit. I'll celebrate my anniversary there, too. Franconian cuisine just perfect
Here you get an excellent Franconian food, especially of course Franconian brunettes and claws. With the right self-made beer you don't need anything else. The operating speed was overwhelming. It only took about 2 minutes until the food was on the table. The service was friendly atmospheric, very nice, but very sticky. The floor could have been a bit cleaner, but I think we had bad luck with our table runners.

Reserve for 8 people. According to the staff, no reservations will be taken, as space would always be free. When we wanted to get in at a given time, of course nothing was free. There were only two people sitting at several large tables. Apparently, sales are not needed here.
