Big Bear Donair - Réservation de table

This small restaurant, located right behind Hendricks barber shop, offers fresh ingredients and their own unique flair. They are open late at night and serve delicious garlic fries, although the garlic may not be crispy. The chicken shawarma is especially tasty and they have a patio for dining. The atmosphere is masculine and cozy, reminiscent of a man cave. The staff is friendly and efficient, serving food quickly. Unfortunately, they no longer serve chicken spicy wings, but their chicken shawarma is still a standout dish.

I've known Travis for about 20 years now. He's still probably the nicest, most stand up guys I've ever met. He puts his heart and soul into everything he does. If you want to support local quality the Travis is your man. He grew up in Marsh Lake, so I'd say he's for sure a local. : I ate there last April when I was visiting from Vancouver and it was better and more filling then anything I ever ate in Vancouver or Montreal. Darn good beer too. Stop by and say hi, everybody is super friendly and will make you feel at home.

Tried the diablo donair which my boyfriend said was one of the best Donairs he’s ever had (and he’s from the East coast of Canada) and the falafel which was equally as good. Really quick and friendly service. The seating area has a great vibe. Clean and covid friendly restaurant. We will definitely be going back. Delicious house made sauces and all toppings looked freshly cut and prepared.

I love going to Big Bear The service is always exceptionally friendly, with knowledgeable staff. All the sauces are house-made, so you can feel good about what your putting in your body, while staying on a budget and eating fast. I never get sick of the shawarma, and the falafel is the best I've ever had! I love that they're making wild game cones on Tuesdays now. Réservez une table maintenant

I went here for the first time two years ago and have been waiting to come back to Whitehorse to eat here again. This time I had to go twice to satisfy my craving. The falafel and yam fries tossed in garlic are the best, and the local beer on tap is a nice touch.

Chicken Shawarma plate is not a shawarma plate. Little bit off for me. It's a chicken biryani taste like not a Middle eastern that we used to have. Chicken meat is a bit dry too. I should have go for Donair. Will try other Menu next time.

Terrible service, nasty food. Not recommended. Not much of other options for a quick bite at this time of year, but still, much better food offered at McD's or Subway for only the cost. Réservez une table maintenant

The donair was delicious and there is a good variety on the menu. I would recommend eating here if you are looking for something quick, reasonably priced, and tasty.

The restaurant serves delicious falafel for vegetarians, as well as pita shawarmas. I opted for the chicken shawarma and it was excellent.
