They were out of bacon. ! This restaurant just isn 't good at all. Stopped by for mid afternoon lunch last Thursday. Tables were cluttered, the whole place was dirty, floors were sticky, and the building is in terrible disrepair including the gross ceiling . It's been a while since I've dined at a Big Boy, and unfortunately, there are none left in my area. However, I noticed quite a few in Michigan. We visited for the breakfast buffet and it did not disappoint. There was a good variety of hot dishes available, and for those times when you want to feel like you're making healthy choices, there were plenty of fruits and other nutritious breakfast options. I especially enjoyed the bacon and the different types of sausages. The biscuits were delightful, though the gravy could have used a bit more flavor. I'm curious about what's going on in this establishment, and I certainly won't be returning. As a successful business owner myself, it’s possible I didn't fit their image of a good tipper, but regardless, the customer service was unacceptable. At the time, there were only a few tables occupied, so it wasn't that busy. I even noticed the waitress walk past me twice on her way to the cash register, clearly ignoring me. It felt like sheer laziness on her part. Honestly, I don’t think I've ever been so frustrated with a restaurant in all my 60 years.

June 9, 2024 Big Boy must have improved their services because my husband and I were just there and found it to be fine. The server was great, she kept on top of my coffee refills and told us about the senior price of $12.99. That isn't stated on their website. They even had pumpkin pancakes on the buffet. Ran out of plates but quickly refilled them. Lastly we had to view the bathrooms and did not find them to be filthy. I say give it a try if you like buffets.
As for parking, it's located in a small strip mall with a spacious lot, so there are plenty of spots available. The handicap spaces are conveniently located at the front.
In terms of accessibility, the entrance is wide enough for a wheelchair, but there isn't an automatic door, so someone will need to hold it open for you.
It has been a lot of time since we have had Big Boys. I was so excited to order the slim jim sandwich. Years ago they used to make it was tartar sauce I was disappointed that they used mayonnaise and it just didn't taste as good or the same as it used to.
We've been to this location twice and they weren't open either times, we check prior to going and it said they closed at 9pm
