Big Chief Burgers

As a teenager this was the place to go for a $2 meal, burger and chips. That is now $5.70, but hey still awesome value. Just visited after nearly 20 years and still same menu, same fitout and I think same owners and although prices have gone up are real good value. Had a roadhouse burger with egg, and at $7.20 is really good value and would not be hard pressed staring up against any of these newer gourmet burger places. Credit to these guys who have kept the local takeaway alive!

Very popular shop and partly I believe because it's most likely open on public holidays. Not only burgers but chicken and seafood here Tried the fish burger,it's nothing much The southern fried chicken burger though is nice. Partly because it's fried and partly because they add a little villi sauce Both are substantial despite the way it looks and at $6.50 each it's a lot cheaper than other places

Big Chief has been a family favourite for years. You always see a familiar face. Food is of high quality but low price. I have recommended to many friends who now visit Big Chief regularly. Even when it's super busy they manage to serve everyone quickly. I have never witnessed an order made incorrect or any customers having any complaints.

Used to come regularly for many years. Last year or so the food standard has dropped. Particularly the seafood. Had one too many rubbish fish and chips. Way too much batter and grease and chips dry. Haven't been back in 6 months and won't be anytime soon.

The burgers are very nice, however, the service was on the slow side. Value for money compared to the OTHER place.
