Big Dipper Ice Cream

My family and I stopped by there last night after dinner. The employees working were very kind, but let us know that they were actually already closed. As we were walking away, a woman approached us, and overheard us talking about us showing up too late. She was the owner, and insisted on opening back up for us. She just asked that we give her a few minutes so she could get her employees finished up and on their way home-they were both teenagers and it was a school night. She helped them wrap up, then took our orders and served our ice cream herself. We were so touched by not only her willingness to help us out, but also her care and concern for her employees. Pretty average place, which is not a bad thing. Good variety and friendly staff. Sometimes service is slow, but understandably. Limited outdoor seating and drive-through available

We had the Big Dipper Ice Cream wagon out at Grand Rapids H-D. The service was great and ice cream was much needed on that hot of a day. Thanks Taylor for being Awesome.

Glad they increased their hours but it's just so over priced.. cheaper to drive to Dorr.
