Do you know how you go to a place and return again because you liked it but it wasn't quite as good as you remember...thats how it was on my second visit. Ordered brisket the first time...nothing special, but I liked the cornbread and environment. Next time I thought I would go for the ribs...I mean how hard could it be. Apparently pretty hard. As it hard as a rock and dried out. Meat aside they had an excellent Pablano soup. The Mac Cheese was average at best and my favorite the cornbread...wow what a let down. $9 for a tiny piece. We ordered two for five people...the first one was okay size but still seemed smaller than last time, but the second one was like a skinny little end cut. Drinks...
Our reservations were at 7:45. We showed up about 7:35. We were seated right away. It was busy when we got there built tables were clearing quickly. Waited about 10 minutes before a server came over. We asked for waters. I then got up and went to the restroom. I got back and had waters on the table. My husband had told the server that I would be right back. Well the server ignored us after that. The server would look at our table and then turn and go to other tables multiple times. The last straw was when the server was dance at the bar when a good song was being played. At 8:20 we got up and left without ordering any food. There were three workers at the hostess station. Told them we had be...
I always order the three way for breakfast when I do go there on a Sunday. It used to be great because they have fluffy scrambled eggs instead of an egg patty type thing. BUT the last year or so the eggs are cold Every Time when I get them and it's visually obvious that they have been sitting a while. I wish they would make the eggs LAST so that they are warm. I want to love the eggs again. Please work on this! I pretty much only eat the toast and cheesy hashbrowns now when I order that. (Which is now a 3$ upcharge as well which sucks)

Overall, good food. The portion size was disappointing. We ordered Roadhouse 1/2 platter for $64 and assumed it would be enough to share with 3. The (4)sides were only big enough for a single person. They come in the size of a tiny cup. With a name like BIG GUYs I was expecting greater portions, this was more like a Small guys BBQ restaurant who likes to taste but needs to keep a slim figure. Totally awesome! Anyone traveling to that area, that is the go-to place for GREAT BBQ and atmosphere. Parking: Tons of parking! Kid-friendliness: I saw kids having a good time.
