I've visited Big John's Pizzeria several times over the years, and it's been a staple on Jamaica Avenue and 219 for as long as I can remember. My first experience there was in the early 2000s when I ordered a chicken roll and a sausage roll, both of which were quite tasty. Eventually, I tried a slice of their pizza, which was decent as well. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is courteous and friendly. This place is truly a landmark on Jamaica Avenue in Queens, and the prices are reasonable too.
Highly dissatisfied and disappointed. Too expensive and the pie of pizza was undercooked. The food just lacked TLC, they just threw ingredients around. I’ve been coming here since middle school and new management or owners whatever changed made this place SUCK! Advertisement isn’t CLEAR at all. Unfortunate to see Big John’s go down like this.
I absolutely love this pizza place in Queens Village! I ordered through Uber Eats on Memorial Day, and the pizza arrived quickly. The dough and cheese were incredibly fresh. I had some concerns after reading the reviews on Google Maps, but the pizza exceeded my expectations—it was amazing!
Overall, it was a decent experience. I ordered two cheese slices to go, but the cashier appeared to struggle with the POS system. When I got home, I noticed that one of the slices was quite burnt on the bottom, while the other was good.

I've been visiting this place since I was a child, and while the pizza can be a bit greasy at times, it has always been delicious. I always have a great time when I'm here and look forward to dining here again soon.
A Shadyville Classic... I've been coming here since I was 12 or 13 years old. I would play a few video games, grab a VHS movie from Blockbuster, and just relax. Now, 35 years later, they’re still making great pizza!
The plain pizza is quite tasty, and the zeppoles are excellent. The wings are also good. However, I'm not a big fan of the specialty pizzas.
Food was delicious. Mind you i have gone back to that spot on back to back nights.

I've been going here since I was a teen, they have one of the best Zeppoles&Pizza.
The food is outstanding, and the restaurant is clean with a friendly staff.
