The food was excellent but the service was horrible. I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp dinner. We dined in and when our food came out, I was given a fried catfish and a bowl of grits which I did not order. When i told the server that the order was wrong, I was assured that it would be corrected and right out. Several minutes later, the shrimp was brought out but no hushpuppies, fries, or coleslaw. I then inquired about the rest of my order. After waiting approximately 30 minutes my 12 French fries and 3 hushpuppies were brought out to me. No refills were given on drinks. This place might be good for take out but I won't be dining inside again. Very frustrating experience but the food was very good.
Horrible services forever to come out. It was not like they was crowded. Waitress was nice that she was the best thing there cuz the food wasn't that good either after 2 hours and 30 minutes spend the $68 on food. I'm still here waiting on something that I ordered 2 hours and 30 minutes ago after they refuse to take that off the ticket because I don't want it! On the other hand, the gumbo was good!! The only reason why I gave a star at all is because I had to give one to leave this
This is the Spot. I went here last Saturday (my first time) and was surprised at how great the food was. I had the Shrimp, catfish, fries, and fried green tomatoes. The Hubs had the Seafood platter with fries and he got some gumbo. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The shrimp was my favorite. It's a little hole in the wall, but overall not bad. Go check them out!
