My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights last weekend. Booked on the Thursday night. We took our 2 dogs and stayed in the dog friendly room in the lodge. Nice comfortable room with fantastic dog walks on the door step. We stayed on a dinner/b and b basis. The food was fabulous. The home grown pork award winning sausages where fantastic. Complimentary wine at dinner was a very nice surprise. House red was great. Hoping to go back and book the whole hotel for our 21st wedding anniversary. Great location for touring the peak district. Close to Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne. Chatsworth was amazing but also visited Ilam Park near Ashbourne, well worth a visit, beautiful house and wonderful grou...
Absolutely amazing! This place is beautiful, and the staff are wonderful—so welcoming and helpful. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. I came here for my first visit after my flight to Malaga was canceled, and I’m so glad I discovered this restaurant. I will definitely return! All the employees were fabulous, especially Lizzie, Sally, and Emma.
We had a fantastic dinner at the Biggin Hall with friends last night. We enjoyed drinks outside in the evening sunshine while we explored the menu. We were impressed by the quality of the food, the warm welcome, and the attentive service, even though the dining room was full. The spacious hall ensures that you’re never disappointed.
What a fantastic hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful, and the room was beautiful. We brought our two Labradors, and there was more than enough space for all of us. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. We will definitely return, but next time we’ll book a ground floor room. Réservez une table maintenant
