Let me start by saying the staff was incredibly friendly and wonderful, quick and efficient. The green chili cream corn…. spectacular. The problem is the star of the show must’ve been replaced by an understudy. None of the other meats matter but the fatty end of the brisket, have at me about that if you want but it’s true. Everything else plays second fiddle and that’s how you can tell how good they’re doing by that cut of meat. The fat wasn’t rendered, and the bark was nonexistent. It still tasted good and it’s still brisket just not the way it’s supposed to be in Texas. Also butter and toast, both sides of the bread I mean for real guys.

Bigham’s has always been my favorite bbq place in the Lbk. Even had it served at my wedding. Tonight it just wasn’t on point. Turkey was good, chop beef looked like it had been sitting in the warmer all day. Very dry. They used to serve huge potatoes. Small potatoes now. Manager said they switched potato companies. Portions has also gotten smaller. Paid $17.50 for 2 meat plate and a drink. Hopefully I just came on an off night. My visit time was 5:30pm. So I would think everything would be hot and fresh for evening dinner run. Let’s get back to that 5 star rating that we were all used too!

Visiting from San Marcos Tx.. I will never recommend this place to anyone that is visiting from else where.. The manager was rude no smile or anything..we were asking questions and she responded rudely.. the other 2 girls looked miserable and well I can’t blame them if they have a manager like that.. fyi this was the one on 82nd and Indiana..
