Big's Bbq Brew Pub

I finally had the chance to try Big's BBQ during the heritage days, and I was not disappointed. I started with a pulled pork sandwich, which was delicious. This made me eager to explore the rest of the menu. My son and I also tried the Pineapple Express sausage sandwich, which had a nice kick to it. My son, who typically doesn't enjoy spicy food, loved this sandwich. I also tried some of their ribs and particularly enjoyed the Penny Scrapper flavor. Having been stationed in Germany where I developed a taste for beer, I was pleased to discover that Big's BBQ serves beer that rivals what I remember. Wow! This place is amazing. The food here is out of this world. It's a Southern grill and we tried the sampler platter, which had a fantastic selection of meats. The brisket was incredible and the sauce was perfect - not too spicy or sweet. The portion size was huge, way more than two of us could even make a dent in. The baked beans were generous and delicious. I'm not a beer drinker so I can't comment on that, but the hard cider was excellent. This is a genuine BBQ spot that is definitely worth seeking out. I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant housed in a historic building. The food was excellent overall, though I found the sandwich buns to be a bit dry. Adding more butter and toasting the buns would improve them greatly. The smoked brownies were a highlight, and I was pleasantly surprised by the option of enjoying a real Mexican Coke in a bottle. I will definitely return in the future! The service, dining experience, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5 in my book.

I had a fantastic experience at this BBQ restaurant. I visited twice and tried a variety of their meats. My favorites were the burnt ends, pulled pork, and ribs. The baked beans were also delicious. I was impressed by their knowledge of gluten-free options for those with Celiac disease. Overall, I would give the food and service a rating of 5, and the atmosphere a 4. Some of the best BBQ I’ve had! Super friendly staff as well and the owner is so nice! Really cool atmosphere as well! 10/10 would recommend! Will be coming back for sure!! This restaurant is adorable and the food is excellent. They also offer programs where customers can buy a drink or sandwich for a veteran. I would definitely come back here again. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect 5-star rating.
