My friends and I had such a wonderful meal here last night; I don't normally leave reviews for places but I felt compelled to as it was just that good! We started with a deliciously dry Lambrusco for our aperitif at the bar, as suggested by the attentive and extraordinarily knowledgable owner, Dan. We then found ourselves a table and got stuck into some fat, salty slices of grilled chorizo swimming in WA honey, and a lemony salted cod dip with house-made lavosh (one of the best dishes of the night). Not being able to decide between a red or white wine, we paired the dishes with a very tasty Provonçeal rosé. No complaints here. We then moved on to the larger plates, leaving the choosing up to...

Soigneusement apprécié les assiettes ici. La nourriture était emballée de saveur, riche et faite avec beaucoup d'efforts. Toutes les grandes expériences gastronomiques pleines de cours.Some de mes favoris étaient les poulpes, les mandrins, les foies, la crème glacée au poivre et la crème Boozy Creme Brulee. Les plaques sont petites et c'est assez vigeuse mais ça vaut la peine.

Thoroughly enjoyed the plates here. Food was packed with flavour, rich and made with lots of effort. All up a great dining experience full of class.Some of my favorites were the Octopus, chuck, livers , pepper ice cream and boozy creme brulee. Plates are smallish and it is quite pricy but well worth it.

Great food and service... well done. Try the beef... best ever. A well lit makover that creates a nice ambience and something different. Very professionally run indeed. Highly recommended

Not great at all. Quite pretentious and the coffee was verging on horrific.. really disappointed that this was the best option for this location. Come one Claremont! Réservez une table maintenant

Pas grand du tout. Très prétentieux et le café avancé était horrible .. vraiment déçu que c'était la meilleure option pour cet endroit. Viens un Claremont!
