Places I'd recommend that still exist over Billy Beach in terms of service and food quality from off the top of my head are: -Sam's Sushi (literally a block away, we didn't go there that day because it's closed on Sunday) -Moshi Moshi -Shiku Sushi -Sushi I -Mejari Fusion Sushi (they have a Groupon, check it out) -Wasabi -Japonessa (have a great happy hour) -Momiji -Koibito -Kisaku -Village Sushi -Sushi Blossom -Ten Sushi -Q Sushi I've been to every sushi place listed above and will literally recommend anything over Billy Beach moving forward. Even some grocery store sushi isn't that bad, let's be honest. I usually only write on Yelp about fabulous experiences or awful ones. This one is the l...

I was let down by Billy Beach. This comes as a disappointment when you see averages. I don 't consider myself a sushi snob, but this sushi was just eh...alright and seemed more artisanal. I got the Turmeric Spicy crispy which was not too bad. Lots of flavors going on crispy rice, avocado, ghost and cilantro aioli. It was overall kind of mushy though, and the jalapeño 's seem kind of a waste as they aren 't really implemented into the rolls, but just on the side. It only kind of lived up to its name and description for me. The rolls are also huge here. Not sure if it 's just the particular rolls we got as I think they were specials, but these are BIG. Kind of cool, but I 'd rather regular siz...
I am updating my review from 2017. It has been a few years since I last visited Billy Beach, and unfortunately, I have to say that the quality has declined over the years. A friend suggested we dine here, and I was looking forward to it as I remembered how good it used to be. However, they have reduced their happy hour menu and deals significantly. There were only two rolls available on the happy hour menu - a salmon skin roll and a tempura roll. I recall there used to be more options on the happy hour menu. None of the dishes stood out as exceptional. We ordered green beans, salmon karaage, chicken karaage, Happy Crunch Roll, 4-piece salmon and tuna nigiri, salmon skin roll, and super bad b...
Billy Beach was a pleasant surprise! Despite its interesting name, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, after hearing my friend rave about it and seeing the mouthwatering photo of sushi she took, I knew I had to try it for myself. Craving sushi rolls tonight, I decided to order the Beach Rainbow Roll for takeout. This delicious roll featured real crab, shrimp tempura, mayo, tobiko, cucumber, avocado, salmon, yellowtail, and tuna. The tempura was crispy, the crab with mayo was delightful, and the sashimi on top was fresh. I'm thrilled to have discovered such a fantastic sushi spot so close to my home. While my friend mentioned that it's a bit pricey, personally I don't find it unreasonable.... Réservez une table maintenant
We came here for the first time yesterday. We sat outside and scanned a QR code for the menu. We ordered... The Dragon Roll: this roll was fresh, creamy and spicy. Unagi Temptation: this was very simple and light but flavorful. It complimented the other parts of our order well. It was simple and fresh. I have never had green beans in a sushi roll before! While I would not have thought that would work, it totally does. The star of the show was the calamari. The calamari we had here is what all calamari should aspire to be. This was a tangy, spicy orange experience. It was tangy, spicy, and left a citrusy aftertaste. The sauce that came with it was wonderful too. In a time of COVID-19, they we...
Delivery Review: Arrived in Seattle late on a Sunday night and was craving sushi. I ordered sashimi and rolls from a local restaurant with 4 stars. While waiting for my order, I read some recent reviews mentioning hair in the food or food poisoning. Despite my hesitation, the food arrived promptly and neatly before the estimated time on Yelp Food Status. I inspected the containers and found no hair in the food. The fish looked fresh, the rice seemed fine, and nothing appeared old. I conducted a smell test on the sashimi, salmon, tuna, octopus, scallops, and albacore, all of which smelled normal. The taste test yielded positive results, with the gyoza and miso soup being average. If I don't g...
Pretty standard sushi restaurant, nothing really extraordinary. The prices are a bit on the steeper since I'm comparison to other sushi restaurants but they have a pretty decent selection of rolls with good combo of ingredients. We got take out and everything was nicely packed and nothing came undone.
Billy Beach is my go to sushi place. It is a little pricey but I really love the staff and how laid back the atmosphere is. Your food comes out pretty quickly and it always tastes amazing. I'm a big fan of their tatakiFood: 5/5 Réservez une table maintenant
I think there was a pice of sushi in my order that was fresh, so I am giving Billy Beach 2 stars. It was so un-fresh that I threw most of it away. And, like most sushi, expensive. Never again.
Fresh delicious sushi and good service. Not pretentious and not overly crowded. Highly recommend it.

"Amazing 360 degree views of Seattle and beyond! Makes the Space Needle look tiny from up there, and it's also nice that they offer food and beverages up there. Worth the cost of admission and uncrowded, even on the Saturday we went."

"Excellent cocktails and atmosphere. We felt rushed to finish up and pay our bill, which wasn’t great, but other than that a solid spot.Food: 4/5"
