There were four employees working and they were all friendly, welcoming and attentive. The chopped barbecue sandwich and Mac and cheese were delicious. The chicken was a little dry but still had good flavor. Thank y’all so much for being so friendly and showing amazing customer service. Mr. Sims, I met you in Novi Michigan a few months back and I can say with 100% your team is just as friendly and welcoming as you were went we met. You have a great team at this location.
I was very impressed. I was lucky and got the turkey fresh out of the smoker and we have about a 30 minute drive home and it was still warm and the juiciest turkey I've had! The brisket was delicious. Green and baked beans, delicious. I believe i may frequent there all.the time now. I will recommend that they start making cheesy corn as a side! Service was great too! I ordered 3 lbs brisket and 3 lb of chicken also ordered 4 pints of potato salad and 4 pints of baked beans the Brisket and Chicken was so dry and parts of it was overcooked. I was serving out of state hunters. I have eaten here several times and I have never sent in a review, but this isn't the only time this has happened to me. I was very disappointed last night. I don’t know if management has changed but prior it was truly hit or miss what you would get coming here. We used to love this place but the inconsistency of things kept us away. I'm not typically a fan of BBQ in Wichita but was impressed with a recent carry out order from Billy Sims. The meats (brisket and pulled pork) were juicy, well seasoned, and perfectly smoked. The sides (beans and potato salad) were on point. Will return. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner
