Some places you walk into feel right straight away, this place has a feel good factor. The food was great! We didn’t have starters and proceeded straight onto the mains, we all enjoyed our mains which arrived in a timely manner. Stavros the guy who looked after our table was a lovely chap and joined in our conversation when he could. He used my name on several occasions which made the whole experience more personal. It was great to meet Alex the head chef who brought our food to the table and again was also very personable. We hope you enjoy your holiday early next year. Great food great people.
I have dined at this restaurant for the second time, based on my daughter's recommendation. My first visit was with my wife, and this time I went with my work colleagues. The manager remembered me and my drink preferences, creating a relaxed atmosphere at this fantastic gastro pub. The website claims to serve outstanding food and provide great service, emphasizing their use of locally sourced ingredients for their home-cooked meals. I can confirm that this description is completely accurate. I will definitely be returning.
This was our first time at this restaurant and we were blown away by the delicious food. We all decided to order the Sunday dinner and every bite was outstanding. We agreed that it was the best Sunday lunch we've had while dining out. From the warm welcome we received upon arrival to the excellent service provided by all staff members throughout our meal, we were thoroughly impressed. We give this restaurant five stars and thank them for a wonderful dining experience.
Excellent impromptu lunch with the family after visiting The Crocky trail. We weren't too sure what to expect. However everything was excellent. Really lovely staff, and the chef brought us our main courses. They definitely take a pride in the service and the special fish dish of the day was excellent. Will definitely make a detour to dine here again. Thank you very much.

Great food, and superb service. The pork belly bites starter was fabulous !! A bit off the beaten track , but worth the effort to go there and will definitely return next time we are in the area. (We'd been to The Blue Planet Aquarium) Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble for our party of 4 adults and two children (aged 9 and 10). Highly recommended.
We went for Sunday roasts which were all very good. Good size portions, good choice of meat whole meal was very tasty, well presented good value for the standard of food compared to other local venues. Pub has been done up to create a nice eating venue. Staff all helpful pleasant. Would recommend.
Visited today for Sunday lunch, after visiting family graves at the church. Staff extremely attentive, and the guy (possibly owner/manager-curly dark hair in ponytail? brilliant too. All ordered Sunday lunches, all agreed the best we had ever had. Just delicious. Can’t wait to visit again.
I went to this restaurant with a friend. We were seated promptly and directed to the bar to grab a drink while our table was prepared. The bar area was small, but we were served quickly. We both ordered a roast dinner, which was generously portioned and delicious.

Went for Sunday lunch. Delicious veg, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. Minor point, beef was a little well done. Sticky toffee pudding also delicious. Pleasant staff.Well worth a visit.Thank you.
