waite h !!!! for food! terrible avoid at all jun Never again for this place. when we arrived on Saturday juni, the place was full of most people already eating. when approaching the bar to ask for a table, the server asked the managerin if we could have a table. she rolled her eyes and said to the waitress to pull her through. that should have been a warning that it would be a bad experience. the waitress approached after about minutes after a beverage order...... after ordering the food, the waitress said there could be a delay. Okay, maybe half an hour could be excused. we have a single hurdle and a minute time for the most important. despite several accusations, that was how long it took,...
My step daughter wanted to do a voucher for a meal as a Christmas present. The Bird in Hand are not part of any group booking service etc to facilitate this........so they just did it independently. In addition to this, we used the voucher for...a January birthday. The staff then had numerous requests from our step daughter for a cake etc. They really went above and beyond to accommodate numerous telephone requests. As with every meal we have had under this management, the food was superb. The waitressing faultless. And as already said, they go above and beyond!!! A local pub trying so hard to make a successful business........well worth our support (to all the local people) !!!
we were here as a big group for a night. overall a good experience, until the facilities pleasant comfortable rooms and complementary drinks at the arrival were a nice note. I feel I have to show how unfriendly almost. were the employees. from the moment we arrived, they seemed to be kind and in bad mood. When we arrived at the day of our departure to the breakfast, we were with “oh! you all came at once!” to whom I felt like we caused the personal inconvenience. not a smile to see them all the time we were there. alone from this reason I can not recommend this hotel especially for large groups. the experience with the staff has spoiled this break.
We had an impromptu meal out this evening and had the Two steaks and a bottle of wine for £30. By far the best steak I have ever had. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Service was outstanding and everyone was very friendly and...helpful. We will definitely be back soon. Réservez une table maintenant
for the first time we had the opportunity to return since August 2020. get the same friendly welcome . order a complete English and chickenburger were both delicious. summing up great staff, great eating, pub only a scandal that we do not visit any closer. more common.
