Biriyani City in North Bethesda truly stands out as a gem! Even when I'm in a hurry to pick up my to go order, I can't help but admire the authentic decorations that add such a cute touch to the interior. Every time I visit, the staff greets me with pleasant smiles, making the experience all the more enjoyable. While I often forget to snap a pic for Yelp amidst my excitement, this time I did manage to get a few quick captures. The Chicken Butter Masala paired with kerala parotta is an unforgettable treat. Don't even get me started on the pakoras they're the ideal blend of crisp and spice. Generous portions guarantee a second round of indulgence at home. Biriyani City is my top recommendation...
Hands-down, my favorite Indian food so far in this area. They have amazing tikka masala. They are very transparent on their spice levels, which is amazing for people that do not tolerate spice very well. Their garlic naan is just perfect. I tried the Samoa's last time and they were very delicious and they give you quite a bit for the price. they have a great mint chutney sauce. I get it every single time for my food. I wish I had pictures. I have been to this Indian restaurant about four times, and we have only lived in the area for less than two months.
We catered for an event and ordered gobi manchurian veg biryani. Everything was amazing. Staff was courteous and helped us with our order. Prices were also reasonable. Highly recommend this place. FYI, although we ordered full trays, we realized that for 25 people, half trays are more than sufficient if there are more than 2 items in your menu. Meal type: Other
We had a craving for Indian and luckily found this wonderful gem tucked away in the back! Great food! Great service! Very authentic! Unfortunately only carry out no dine in. It took awhile for our food to be ready but we'll worth it as it was so fresh! This is going to be our go to place for Indian! Highly recommend!
