I love chana masala. I tried the chana masala at Phulkari, Taj, and finally at Bismillah today. They are all within a mile or so of each other in the Madison Heights area.Not only was this chana masala the best of the three, this is easily the best chana masala I have ever tasted, and I have tasted dozens over the years. The chana is super tender, and the masala gravy is just heavenly. Nice spicy bite. One thing that you can see is that they are quite fond of oil, and you will see it puddling on top. Mix it in or scrape it off, or maybe do like I did and soak it up with some naan :)My only nit is that they only have naan, and not roti, which I prefer as it uses wheat and is ever so slightly...
Good authentic Bangladeshi food. We ordered tilapia curry, beef vindalo, mixed vegetables, chicken swarma, mango lassi, and jilapi. Apart from tilapia being a bit salty, all the foods tasted great! The chicken Swarma tasted like Indian cuisine, but that not necessarily was bad! I just wished they had more fish curries (like rui fish) and more vorta type food!The staffs were really nice too!
I was surprised by my experience since I specifically requested my food to be extra spicy, but it ended up being just regular. The food lacked any heat, and the Chicken 65 was quite sweet, despite my request for it to be medium spicy. This happened on two separate occasions, which prompted me to write this review. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5.

Just left this place. Felt the need to leave a review. The customer service was A+ We weren't sure what's what, the guy was very helpful in narrowing it down to our liking. The food was good. good size portions. We will definitely be back.
Delicious Bangladeshi food with great hospitality. Highly recommended for piyaju, beef tehari, and naga beef biriyani. Aroma is so good feels like I am in Bangladesh Food: 5/5
