Bistro 29 - Réserver une table

This was a really excellent restaurant! The food was superb, even the salad was actually made with greens, not iceberg lettuce. Best calamari we've had in a while...wine down Wednesday has $5 wines, a large variety. The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. I'm really picky about green beans and they were perfect! Great job!

Was refused seating and made to seem like we can’t eat there at all. Instead of host saying there was a wait of “maybe 30-40 mins” she said I am not allowed to seat you. Kitchen is backed up. As we walked out a party or 3-4 left. There was only 2 of us. She asked us to come back. Won’t be.

Went here on a Saturday evening and it was nearly empty. I had the fish chips which was excellent. The hand-cut fries were amazing! My friend had the stuffed trout. She said it was a bit dry.

I don't understand why it is not a more popular dish in restaurans, the schnitzel was good.
