Maybe they noticed the little red spoon icon on the bottom of some of my restaurant reviews? they are spoons, a note that a snipsel of my review is on a larger restaurant rating website. I have recently written some reviews and zomato sent me a good note as thank you for my contributions. to accompany the menu of the chef in the taj st James’ court. everything that concerns champagne is always welcome. So, on a wet bank holiday Saturday I was happy to meet a friend for dinner.
We made a reservation very last minute, and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The food and drinks were delicious, very well priced considering the quality, and I couldn't fault the friendly service. Beautiful restaurant, great ambiance, amazing food.
Friendly service, comfortable environment and excellent food. Fish and chips done two ways was interesting and innovative, with the portion size being generous. Upmarket feel to the restaurant, but still felt informal and welcoming.

Gorgeous interior with a lovely view of the courtyard. Excellent service, very tasty cocktails and the food was fresh and flavoursome. Looking forward to going back and trying some more dishes.
Great ambience and good food. While staff were delightful, boy it was slow service. I had the same experience two nights in a row. The views over the courtyard are stunning.
emilie made our night special she was great, but outside this service was very robotic as from the waiter who treated the food with us also let us.
