I visited bistro de la gare with my wife for lunch and I do not think that this crook can make it beyond the average mark at the moment. it is beautifully located in teh beautiful small town rosemere on the north bank. as his name already says, it is actually a bistro that is glued to the station rosemere. so if they take the train, they can apply for a fast bite if the time allows. that said it comes with a lot of parking. The cafe is quaint and cozy. We were attracted by it and come here to try the food.What a disappointment. My husband's pizza is nice but oh, boy, it was the saltiest pizza we ever tried.I ordered a Nachos de la Gare, $19. What I got is a bag of nachos, baked on a wooden tray (presentation super cute when arrived) , garnished with a tiny sprinkle of onion, shallot, and bell pepper, little cheese, with sour cream and salsa. That's it.The cheese were barely there. I was hoping maybe it was under, nope. very nice, warm and cozy place. simple and yet elegant, and usually not oriented for bulk clients. there must be around 25 seats inside. with sun umbrellas on the outside ffor warmer weizener. obviously, the tchoutchou will happen from time to time, its over the many...Charmes of istros. yes, they serve not only breakfast, but they know, besides a glass wee that observed the sun after work, I had breakfast at other places and it is much better than my own. service very homy. have been fun every minute. sante
Very nice place, cozy, calm smooth atmosphere, the service, not so much, things like bringing a glass of water should be done right away when the customer sits on the table, I needed to ask twice to bring a glass of water and third time I just gave up. The staff are nice but shows they lack experience. I ordered a Margarita pizza, it was okay, the cesaer salad was soggy. Too bad the service and the food didn't match the place. The restaurant is lovely and the service was excellent. However, the pizza is not worth the price. The dough was chewy and the bottom of the pizza was undercooked. The toppings were good though. I would return to try their daytime menu, but I would not order their pizzas again.
Very quaint place to spend with a friend, friends or your other half. Food was very good. Nothing to complain about service, server was very friendly and atentive to our needs. I ate inside and on the terrace, both very nice, but the terrace on a great day is awesome.
