the place looks more like a taco stand than a bistro. but eating is very well prepared. strangely, they have a combination of street food (e.g. currywurst) with very beautiful Japanese dresses (sashimi, sushi, udon, Bento-Box). the only part is that they have no tables, there is only a long bar on the wall and stool. So if they don't disturb the sitting, the place is great. actually the only Japanese restaurant in this part of düsseldorf (that is benrath.) the place is tending to be busy on weekdays at lunchtime.
the combu is at a distance the most inviting bistro in benrath, if not even in düsseldorf. the owner-guided local (no restaurant, since only 10 high-seat on the wall) serves delicious Japanese food as well as a small selection of local highlights such as currywurst and pommes frites. we enjoyed all sushi varieties and most daily changing other Japanese dishes. they were all excellent and on the point. bento box or sushi factory have no chance. we'll come back when we're next time in the opposite!
sushi and currywurst, where is it? in the combo. ; had heard a lot well and I was not disappointed super tasty, unpaid absolutely in order and a totally beautiful family atmosphere. really an interesting and very successful German-Japanese mixture. in the nearby castle park a sunny bank, what would you like more for a successful lunch break? the chicken cararaage is highly recommended! only manko: unfortunately there are no drinks.
Okay, you are in Düsseldorf, looking for that Japanese food everyone is talking bout but the queues on Immermannstrasse are just endless and you gonna be frustrated. Forget about Little Tokyo and go to Düsseldorf Benrath where you’ll find Kombu.These guys are just killing it with their food, daily changing small menu with fresh ingredients and whatever you’ll order, you won’t be disappointed. 6 of 5 stars!!!

the best bistro in the opposite! the small restaurant with Japanese cuisine is always worth a visit. perfect sushi and changing day offers with freshest ingredients and great flair. the entire staff is super friendly almost as in japan itself!
they are the best bite far and wide! thanks for their delicious Japanese dishes like the karaage with pommes and rice! this combo is also super kreatiw and extremely delicious!
not only the best karaage of the city, but in general all the foods are incredibly delicious. also from the price-performance ratio absolutely unbeatable.
The dishes had too much rice and were not very well prepared. Sushi was good. The prices are a bit higher but I will give a try once again.
