First, the owner acted as if he was doing us a favour while taking the order (MIND YOU, IT IS NOT A CHEAP RESTAURANT BY ANY MEANS, FOR HIM TO ACT LIKE THIS) Finally after taking the order and waiting for 45 minutes, our starters arrived which were cold and had a very stale taste. Thereafter, when we very politely informed the owner, about the same, he very rudely started SHOUTING : GET OUT OF HERE IF YOU DON 'T LIKE THE FOOD! HE STILL CHARGED US EVEN THOUGH WE DIDN 'T T EAT, WHICH IS OK AS HE PROBABLY NEEDED THE MONEY TO STAY INEBRIATED AT WORK From other posts i Can see other people have also had similar issues, which means it in not only me! Anyway, there is a nice Italian restaurant next...
Je n'ai jamais vécu un service aussi horrible. Un membre de la famille n'a pas pu manger un repas complet. Pour le "punir", le propriétaire lui a enlevé son verre et sa fourchette et a fait continuellement des remarques dégoûtantes. Quand la nourriture est arrivée, elle était froide et ma portion de poisson était seulement la moitié de la taille standard. Malheureusement, le propriétaire a continué à faire de mauvais "jokes" et nous étions heureux de quitter le restaurant le plus rapidement possible. Je recommande vivement de laisser cette expérience aux pauvres clients qui n'utilisent pas TripAdvisor.
We've been the American customers of Carole and Christophe for 10 years, since they were just a small bar just up the street. It's always delightful to spend an evening dining at Bistro Le France. Don't leave without an after dinner drink of the local Farigolue, an aperatif made from thyme. Large sidewalk dining area and an interior dining room with lots of rugby memorabilia.
Unfriendly!!! At First they were not amused that we took only one plate de jour without wine…. Then we‘d to wait nearly one and a half hour for the plate. After our demand they throw the spoon on the table that the glasses were clinking. A wonderfull sample for bad service, never had in France before. Would like to have them as visitors in germany…..
