We made a reservation and were warmly greeted upon our arrival. Neave took excellent care of our table throughout the dinner service, checking in frequently but not being overly attentive. She suggested some fantastic dishes for us to try. We started with the soup of the day, which was Broccoli and Cheddar, and Oysters. Both were fresh and delicious. The main courses arrived promptly after our appetizers were cleared. The standout dish was the lamb rack, which was cooked perfectly and complemented nicely by the sides. I'd read and been impressed by the menu before realising Bistro Manly is the restaurant for the Manly Pacific Hotel. Yet not a buffet salad or Bain Marie in sight! Fabulous food, very well presented and that was well priced compared to the tourist focused Manly beachfront eateries along North Steyne. Service was attentive and polite, with the staff clearly taking their work professionally. We'll be back.
The quality of the food is excellent and offers a refreshing change from the typical bistro style that's currently in fashion. The real skill and attention to detail were evident, especially with a truly exquisite dish. The only issue was with the payment method (the card reader), which was poorly managed and caused some confusion—this could have led to a rather unfortunate situation!
Service is good, oysters are super fresh and perfectly sized, calamari unfortunately the last couple of times has been salty, the seafood ravioli was delicious, and the steak was great! Would defiantly be back again only downside is being in a beachside location I would of liked to see more grilled seafood options like the other beachside Accor restaurants and hotels.

eating was nice, though a tad small/light on the portions. some services might have been in educational stages (we all need to learn sometimes) and therefore lacked the service, but their hearts were at the right place. the atmosphere was pretty good. Nice to dinner as it is not loud, but could do with a tad more funke, personality or the ne sais quoi.
I celebrated my birthday lunch at Bistro Manly and absolutely loved it! They accept the ACCOR Advantage Plus Card, which offers a fantastic 50% discount. The five-star food and service were outstanding. The fish and chips were particularly delicious!
The food was outstanding! My son is getting married there next Saturday, and we are incredibly impressed. The chef even came out to speak with us, which made the experience even better. We are very happy with the food he served us!
The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, although the price of the oysters at $8.50 was a bit steep! This is our second visit, and we'll definitely be coming back.

The service is fantastic, the restaurant is beautifully designed, the food is wonderful, and the location is definitely a great asset. It's certainly making a comeback!
Great restaurant inside Manly Novotel. Nice atmosphere. Food took a while to come out (and service could do with abit of improvement) but overall worth the wait.
