We found this place by chance, just walking around, and stopped because of the variety of mussels offered with cream, with mushrooms, with whiskey, with curry, with goat cheese and honey, with roquefort cheese, with pastis .. . We had them with wiskey and with cream, one kg for about 10 euros each, both quite well. Our boys had pizza and the menu d 'enfant, both were satisfied eight of ten points . Charming service and a great atmosphere let down by mediocre and odd food. Starter of seafood salad was a few small squid in a warm cheese sauce served on tired lettuce. For main I had monkfish tail (frozen) in a prawn and mussel sauce monkfish dry and tasteless, mussels small and salty and prawns replaced by under cooked potatoes all cooked in a curdled sauce and served on a bed of stale and slightly brown lettuce. Pitcher wine was good. Raspberry sorbet was delicious but overall not worth a visit.

A great little restaurant which was a definite favourite when we visited Sete. It serves traditional setoise food and some general food. The menu du jour is great value four courses for a total of 11.50 euros! Amazing. Delicious food. Definitely worth stopping by here for a meal.

The prices are a lot keener than those down lower on the quayside. The service was prompt and the waiters friendly. The food was probably the best we have eaten in France for a while and my 4 course 11€ menu was a bargain.
