Bistrot Gautte - Réserver une table

Our niece told us about this wonderful little restaurant and we enjoyed it immensely. Beginning with a starter platter of smoked salmon, exceptional accras, and lovely small salads (almost enough for a meal), we followed with the very special lobster croquettes. What a delight! Light and tasty, these are pure pleasure. We did manage to stuff down the dessert of the day, with chocolate and mango, but it was not easy after such a terrific meal.

We were staying in St Gilles for one night and hadn't booked dinner anywhere. This restaurant was down the road from our hotel and is well placed for the centre of town. We popped in when they opened and asked if there was a table free. They immediately found a space for us even though they were very busy. The service was excellent as was the meal itself. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in St Gilles.

I went with friends to this quaint restaurant in the heart of town that was recommended by friends who had been before. I am so glad we went. The food was amazing. So fresh and well presented. The service was wonderful as well. If we ever come back to St Gilles, we will certainly return. And I highly recommend it to everyone.

1st time visiting St Gilles Croix de Vie. What a special find this restaurant was. The whole experience was fantastic staff pleasant/helpful, decor clean/tidy, food was exceptional quality/value. We loved the way it was presented on the plate and everyone in our party cleared their plates. Thank you

Highly recommend this restaurant. Delicious food, excellent presentation, charming host and great value….so good we ate here twice during a three night stay in Saint Gilles Croix de Vie. Hope to return.
