Black Angus Steakhouse

Not gonna lie the food was great! Went there last Friday, But all of that got forgotten by the bitterness of being charged 3 times. The waitress was never rude but she also did swipe the card 3 times before the bank had to block it was not until that happened that she finally came back to inform about the issue, checked the bank and 2 transactions from Black Angus had gone through, she went and brought the manager and even after acknowledging the bank transactions he still asked us to pay a third time with some other form of payment, he said sorry for your charges but since they couldn't make the computer print then we had to be charged again but that he would call on Monday to get the issue...

Staff is welcoming and attentive. The food is decent and consistent; one knows what to expect in terms of quality. It 's not Morton 's or RC, but it 's a mid range steak house that will satisfy the average palate. Steaks are typically cooked to order (my last visit, unfortunately, had me return the steak to the kitchen three times. Way too much gristle on the first steak the knife couldn 't cut through it. The second steak also had too much gristle and was nearly raw). On the third attempt, I opted out of a replacement and satisfied my hunger with a baked potato and a salad. I 'll consider this a 'one off ', as we 've visited this restaurant many, many times with favorable results.

First steak ordered was very rare but had ordered medium rare. Appeared to be a poor quality cut. Replacement steak was impossibly tough and could not chew. Overall appearance was a very poor looking cut, below supermarket quality. Manager was congenial and then furnished a very high quality steak. Seating was unusual as customers were seated in booths right next to each other, in the bar area, even though there were plenty of other open booths. Why bother with checking for Covid vaccination proof and then seat customers on adjoining tables? Had previously been there about 2 1/2 months ago and everything was fine.

Let me start by saying the cheesy bread appetizer is a winner every time.. check out the pic, we had already put some in our stomachs but you get the idea..yum Server named Debra was very good. Outdoor dining only. A bit slow in getting people seated. However my party of 3: enjoyed the steak and I had fresh salmon with broccoli
