Butter croissants are delicious, as a rule, and the fresher the better. So when I tell you that the pastries at Black Box Bakery (including the OG classic croissant transcend deliciousness, please understand that these are the best croissants I’ve ever tasted, light as a cloud and fluffy as a pillow but with a delicate crispy crunch that will leave you savoring every bite. I will admit I suffered a degree of sticker shock the first time I went (almost six dollars for a regular croissant! , but my god is it worth it as a once-in-a-while treat. The sourdough loaves are sublime too, with the Colorado caveat that your bread will go stale quickly in the high altitude, so plan your consumption wis...
Can’t say enough good things about this bakery. The staff is extremely inviting and nice . You can tell they all love baking , and even though they have been there for hours they are always enthusiastic. The baked goods, there way too many items to mention. You should try as much as you can. The ambiance is that of mix use space so nothing impressive as you order and take your own seats in the shared space of the marketplace . But really this is the best bakery in denver hands down. Flavors bombs galore !
Everything here is 10/10 the pastries, the service, the atmosphere. I have had 3 of their pastries so far (amazingly delicious, cannot wait to go back for more), 2 of their breakfast items (these were good but not filling, definitely saving my calories for the pastries next time), their earl grey is perfect (the velvety texture you don’t necessarily get anywhere else). I LOVE Black Box Bakery!
Didn’t know the croissant cubes are on a rotational menu. Originally we went for the pistachio honey cubes, but this was the only option so we got it. It was chocolate with caramel ganache inside. Very rich and crispy croissant. A bit too rich for our liking. But overall a good croissant. Staff was friendly and helpful. They also keep the area clean and neat. Réservez une table maintenant
Always moist and delicious croissants. I had heard of them before, but didn't try them out until they did a YouTube collaboration video with Safiya Nygaard. THAT CUBE WAS SO GOOD. When I've gone to pick up orders the workers are always so friendly. Unique concept for a bakery. Would give 10 stars if I could!
