We had an excellent meal at a very affordable price. My wife ordered the homemade steak and ale pie, which was beautifully cooked with a generous amount of tender steak inside and a wonderfully crispy crust. I enjoyed a delicious omelette paired with a fresh, cool, and crunchy salad. The menu offered a great selection of options, and the restaurant itself was particularly clean. The staff was very pleasant as well. We highly recommend this wonderful place in a lovely location.
fantastic hotel and very friendly staff! we organized a group meeting for the 34 participants of our 3-day mysterious road trip through the united kingdom and the black lion was a great choice. the outside area is beautiful and very spacious. eating is great, with a lot of gear and equipment. highly recommended and we will certainly visit the black lions during our trip in the juni next year!
I visited Hereford on Friday. I spent a lot of my childhood vacations there, but I hadn't been back in nearly 50 years. My friend and I stopped by The Black Lion for a late lunch, and we had the best steak pie I've ever tasted. We will definitely return, and I won't wait another 50 years to visit again!
Fantastic and genuine dining experience with generous portions. The staff were polite and cheerful. I want to give a special shoutout to Kerry, who kindly took care of our dog by providing treats and water at the bar. Plus, the chef was all smiles! The homemade cakes were absolutely amazing too.
