"Great spot for coffee in Turramurra. Quiet until a big group of senior citizens turned up. The friands are fresh and served nicely warmed."

Today I took my partner and daughter for a coffee, banana bread & toasted sandwich at this particular cafe, we were greeted by a friendly waitress who took our orders, when we received our toasted sandwiches we realised that both were covered in pepper, this was ok for me but not for my 8 year old daughter, so I walked back to the counter with the plate & mentioned to the three ladies behind the counter who were all listening to me, that my daughters toasted sandwich was covered in pepper, I received a response from the older lady in a very passive/aggressive manner "we salt n pepper everything here & how am I suppose to know it's for a child? At this moment I was shocked at her response, I responded with "well I'm sorry, maybe I should have come over and let you know" she just glared at me & took the plate from me, I was thinking to myself that it's not my job to tell you anything, it's your waitresses job, however, she did make us another toasted sandwich, but what was really uncomfortable, was that she continued to look over at us from the service area with a glare, then she would say something to the two waitresses and they would all look over at us and laugh, they made us feel very uncomfortable during our entire time in the cafe,When we were leaving I asked this particular older lady if she owned the business & she replied in a very rude way that yes, she did & that I didn't have to ever come back if I wasn't happy, she then proceeded to walk over to my partner and basically abused & threatened her in front of my 8 & 5 year old daughters to leave her cafe & told her to never come back, she also told my daughter "you should have just eaten your sandwich with the pepper on it" I could here her yelling at my partner & my daughters from the front of the cafe & it was all done right in front of the only other customers in the cafe, 3 ladies, it was a horrible & totally unnecessary experience. The gentleman (owner) who normally runs this cafe is polite & professional, it's such a shame he leaves this other lady who is either his wife or business partner in charge when he is not there, as she is rude, aggressive & should not be in any contact with the public at all for their safety! We will never enter this cafe again from our own choice.... Not there's.....!!!!

Good coffee, GREAT mint hot chocolate. The staff and owners are friendly and they have recently revamped their menu. They are very flexible with gluten free options (which are tasty too!). My current favourite is the lemon ricotta cake It's generally not buzzing but I quite like that. This is my go-to coffee shop.

Absolutely love this place. This is the one cafe in the area where you can always expect fresh food and great service. This time we had the salmon cesar salad and chicken sandwich and once again we were impressed with the quality. Can't wait to come back here.

This cafe I suppose has its place with the conservative grannies of the north shore but the food is average. They got rid of their greatest asset which was a kids play space due to a few unfortunate behaved parents and kids.
