Our new favorite place for brisket and pulled pork! Black Powder catered an event where my wife works a few weeks ago. She said it was so good, we had to go eat there in person. The place is clean and welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere. Every one of the four employees we interacted with was friendly and polite. Best of all, the food was very good! The variety of sauces at the table were also good. Not sure which one is my favorite yet! We highly recommend Black Powder and will be back soon.Parking: For as popular as this place is, unfortunately parking is limited. We had to drive around three times, and wait for a spot to open.
This place is legit…Came at a perfect time for their Wednesday Special! ?The Brisket “double burger” was to die for, pictures don’t do it justice... Everything about it was sinfully delicious with melted shredded mozzarella, banana pepper chutney, topped with shredded beef ribs and garlic mayo.Two of those double Brisket Burgers delicious baked beans and Mac and cheese. Also, the best-smoked Ribs “half-rack” with green beans. The brisket meatloaf was great too, that had a little kick of spice to it…Wow, what nice flavors! Enjoyed with the Fam! Amazing food! ???? went there as part of a Jeep meet-up and was very happy with the food and service. All the BBQ is made fresh and is available until they run out. The limited quantity means that there is extra quality and attention put into the food. Ordered the pulled pork and brisket with sides of mac and cheese and banana pudding. Everything was scrumptious. Even had a slight issue with an order of hushpuppies taking extra long and the staff was very polite and rectified the situation easily. Satisfied and full and ready to go back!
The food is good, the staff are nice, I like the atmosphere of the place, but the parking kinda sucks. Wild how I live close to here but never tried for over a year.It's kinda pricey and portions seem kinda meh so that's the reason for my 4 star rating. There is also something about it that makes it pass through my body and I haven't quite figured it out because everything seems cooked properly, so its probably just me and I don't knock them for it.Definitely give this place a try if you like BBQ.

Had to take my buddy to Black Powder Smokehouse for some brisket, mac cheese, pork rinds. It was awesome. My friend said it was the best BBQ he's had in NC. He also got the banana pudding and said it was fantastic. I'm ready to go back again!Parking: Small parking lot. Hard to find a spot because they're busy. Worth the trouble though!!!
The 'Que was great, the Brisket excellent and the fixings just right. Stopped here on recommendation of salesperson at Furniturland South, after all day shop 'til you drop for furniture. Black Powder hit the spot. If you 're ever near Jamestown, NC, do yourself and hungry a favor, Sopt by Black Powder Smoke House and get it corrected.
Absolutely amazing! The food was the best true bbq prepared right in front of you when you order. Great setting mostly picnic table style seating inside with the bar. The ribs, brisket, pulled pork fries were all awesome. Also I highly recommend the Mac cheese!
This restaurant was pretty good. Ribs were awesome! Chicken was really good too. Actually glad you stood in line and got food n then sat n didn't deal with waiters. Lol. Only downfall is size of parking lot. ?

Excellent food. Took a while to get my fries, even though others had theirs who ordered after me. Inquired twice. Would be nice to have another register, line was long.
Bar-b-Q was perfect, the smoked guda mac& cheese was to die for!
