My new favourite place to eat in Echuca. Nice heated courtyard to sit in, great friendly efficient quick service with good food at good prices. I had the home made baked beans with chorizo and a baked egg which came with 2 slices of crispy toast and it was delicious. Definately returning. Only setback is as they open early for breakfast the kitchen closes around 2pm if you need a late lunch before they close at 3.
Let's not get precious about staff not wearing masks and asking for vax certificates, like some reviewers. Perhaps Uber Eats should be considered if you're that way inclined. Black Pudding Cafe is an early-opener that's ideal for brekkie, as was the case for us. Genuine friendly service, **** good coffee and some of the best scrambled eggs we've consumed. Keep up the mighty fine work, guys.
We had a delicious breakfast. The food was cooked perfectly. The only down sides- ordered long black in a mug but got a small cup, asked for coffee to come with the meal but it came well before, no cracked pepper AND none of the staff were wearing a mask, nor was I asked for my vaccination certificate.
It was definitely a great referral to check out The Black Pudding. my Granola Bowl was delicious. The Mrs had the crumpets for breakfast and she was very happy. We just wish we had more views of the river without the trees in front of it to feel more special. . The service was excellent Réservez une table maintenant
Awesome food, service and great coffee Had the Eggs Benedict, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the ham was extremely tasty, side of mushrooms were great, really enjoyed Definitely quality local ingredients and also recommend the side of Black Pudding of course
Slightly chilly weather called for something warm for lunch. The Black Pudding has a small heated riverside courtyard, but we opted for the alfresco street side spot. Warm spicy pumpkin soup with buttery bread and a pot of tea warmed us from the inside. Perfect
The breakfasts here were incredible. Coffee was good too and everything was reasonably priced. Our dog was allowed with us outside which was great, and the staff were very friendly!
Have only tried takeaway coffee, which was good. No less, no more. Convenient takeout window outside for ordering (no need to step in). Réservez une table maintenant
