Blackwood Ridge Cafe & Larder

We have been coming to the nursery for several years and we're so happy the cafe is up and running. The food is simple, but delicious some picked from the garden just outside the door.We love the fit out rustic but stylish, it's a small space so we booked ahead. There is a limited menu but that's to be expected in a one man kitchen, we chose the grain salad and the chicken bits and were not disappointed. I liked the look of the scones but couldn't fit them in, maybe next time. I think it's closed over winter but will definitely be back in the spring. Well done James and the team.

Being a regular customer at the cafe and larder, as a local, I am incredibly grateful to have this wonderful establishment nearby. The food is always fresh, delicious, and creatively prepared. The selection of wines is impressive and the atmosphere is inviting with a lovely view of the garden and dam. The sustainable design of the building is also something that has left a positive impression on me. Overall, it's the perfect spot for a leisurely long lunch.

Wow! A friend arranged a catch up for our group at this venue. What a find. We were all impressed with the foodThe menu is limited, yet delicious. We were lucky and had a sampler of the menu and we were not disappointed.Lovely gardens and nursery. Menu is seasonal and freshly picked.Will be back for a Devonshire tea. Booking recommended.Just a side note. There is a short gravel road approximately 500 metres prior to arrival.

Excellent food; Limited menu; when something runs out it is a bit of a problem, especially if it is the only vegetarian option! Luckily they were prepared to make more from scratch.Service is excellent. Zucchini chips are amazingly good.If you book on-line then follow up with a phone call to check that they have received the booking. We had lunch at the Blackwood Ridge cafe recently. What a great find this was. The gardens onsite are really well maintained and the nursery was a delight to walk around. We have recommended this to many friends and will return again soon we hope!

The lunch menu was just lovely and so varied, unique and innovative. But not scary! Great food! We shared lots of different dishes between 7 of us. Lovely wine, food, great service. Great location! Thank you!

Spot on! Had the set menu Sunday roast. 3 courses 39 bucks. Couldn't have asked for more. Good service and a comfy setting. Perfect winter afternoon setting. Zero negatives. Well done!

Shame they don't do evening meals.... lunch and breakfast are very good and service and staff very attentive. The 2 Simon's have made this place their own and it is now very popular Réservez une table maintenant
