Sono andato con due amici ed abbiamo mangiato benissimo.Il menu è in tedesco ma il cameriere è stato super gentile e ci ha spiegato in inglese piatto per piatto che ingredienti avevano, offrendoci anche un'alternativa fuori menu con i piatti del giorno.Il mio amico vegetariano ha trovato delle ottime alternative ai piatti di carne optando per una buonissima pasta e una bruschetta come antipasto, io ho preso una fettina di vitella buonissima con funghi e tortino di patate e come antipasto un formaggio di capra con miele. An Kalk Kapelle die Kalker Hauptstrasse rechts verlassen und man bewegt sich geradeaus auf den Blauen König zu, am Markt gelegen, unter schönen Bäumen. In der Sommersaison sitzt man draußen relativ ruhig.Der Service ist in i.O., die Speisen recht einfallsreich und immer frisch. Tageskarte. The restaurant was recommended by friends and we were very happy that they did. We had a very nice dinner, everything was prepared with fresh ingredients and it tasted wonderful. We started by sharing a starter of grilled goats cheese with a salad. Perfectly prepared. After that I had a very nice fresh ravioli filled with pumpkin and mascarpone while my girlfriend enjoyed a nice grilled fish with a very tasty risotto. The red house wine I can definitely recommend : . All in all a lovely and very tasty dinner for a very nice price. If you get a chance definitely visit! Bei der Qualität der Gerichte waren wir angenehm überrascht. Die Preise sind unschlagbar günstig. Nur der Service sollte noch nachlegen. Auf die Frage ob die Gambas entdärmt sind, lautete die Antwort----Weiss ich nicht---. Ich esse so etwas nicht. Nach der Bitte doch den Koch zu fragen, kam sie zurück und erklärte, normalerweise nicht aber man könnte es machenWir haben die Gambas bestellt und es nicht bereut.

Der Blaue König ist ein süßes kleines Lokal nähe Kalk Kapelle. Hier gibt es neben sehr guten festen Gerichten auch immer tolle Kreationen auf der Wochenkarte. Der Inhaber sowie das Personal sind sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gemütlich. Preis Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall. Für mich gibt es hier nichts zu verbessern- ein super Restaurant!

What a cosy corner restaurant with families from around the market place (with giant playground! enjoying French-inspired cuisine at very reasonable prices! We had pasta in truffle mushroom cream followed by homemade crème brûlée! Chef originates from Marocco. A truely underestimated discovery! Will be crowded in a few weeks for sure!

Der Blaue König ist eines der angenehmsten Restaurants von ganz Köln und mitten in Kalk absolut konkurrenzlos. Die Küche ist international ausgerichtet (italienisch, deutsch, französisch) und jedes Gericht ausnahmslos sehr lecker. Die Bedienung und das Ambiente sind sehr nett. Super! Das Lokal ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Neben der Standardkarte gibt es auch eine wechselnde Wochenkarte. Die Speisen sind mediterran gehalten und sehr schön angerichtet. Es gibt auch als Desert einige Kuchen. Ein nettes Ambiente und gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis.
