There aren't enough stars to describe the awesome experience my husband and I had here last week for date night. I kept hearing great things so we decided to try it out and it definitely lives up to the hype. The owner Ron is the sweetest person ever. He was so excited to meet his new customers and was so hands on with his staff the entire night. You really never see that anymore. Came here to take my parents out for their anniversary. They wanted seafood and I've always been wanting to try this place out. Just to be safe, I made a reservation because the restaurant isn't huge and it was around Valentine's Day. Even with a reservation, we still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. There is no space to wait inside so we were kind of squished by the entrance. We didn't want to get in anyone's way or in people's personal space. Finally I am writing a review for Bliss. Yelp has been relentless with asking me. Lol Joe and I have been going to Bliss with our dear friends Pete and Sally for approximately 5 years. Mostly for happy hour at the bar area. The happy hour discount is worth the small trip and the food is tasty. The HH menu is satisfying and pleasing. Tasty salad selections, sliders, flatbread pizza, soup, penne, Mac and cheese , fish tacos etc. Discount cocktails too. I believe the hours are between 4 -7pm. Live music on Friday nights. I came here on a double date, with my girlfriends sister and husband and was very pleased surprised with this restaurant. Hospitality was A1 and the service was amazing. Started off with the calamari and the meatball sliders and everything was very good. The calamari was cooked to perfection and the meatball sliders were good. Sauce on the meatballs had a nice sweet and savory sauce and the service was excellent. I wish I remember my hostess name, but she was great. I had the bliss burger which was a home run and my girlfriend got Bolognese with meat sauce that was great. I want to give a shoutout to the servers here as they were very attentive. My family appreciated the white table cloths, quick replacement of utensils after appetizers, and the prompt refilling of water. It feels like fine dining at a reasonable price with great food and service. We are looking forward to coming back and hope that the quality we expect remains consistent. One minor complaint and observation: I noticed that sometimes the music can be overpowering with the bass, while other times it becomes quiet, which is a bit odd and jarring to the ears. My husband and I were introduced to this restaurant by our real estate agent when we moved into the neighborhood. It has become one of our favorite spots for date night. The food is consistently delicious and the portion sizes are good. I highly recommend trying the drunk mussels – they are amazing. The service is always friendly and professional, with all the staff being welcoming and happy. The owner is always present, greeting customers with a smile. We love this restaurant and hope it stays around for many years to come.
To start, the food at this restaurant is excellent. The staff, however, goes above and beyond. We visited for a special lunch event and were welcomed by a friendly bartender. The surprises continued as our meal was brought out. The salad was delicious and the bread spread was amazing. The main courses were equally delicious and everyone at the table enjoyed them. The owner, Ron, was constantly checking in to make sure we were satisfied. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a casual meal in a relaxing atmosphere.
