Block House Rostock

Après avoir frappé le premier endroit où nous allions manger, nous sommes tombés sur le Block House! Il avait l'air occupé, ce qui est toujours bon signe au milieu de la semaine et les clients qui sortaient ont dit que la nourriture était excellente. Nous avons donc essayé ... et n'avons pas été déçus. Nous avons tous les deux eu steak, salade et pommes de terre et tout était cuit à la perfection. Le personnel était sympa et le service était excellent. Les menus sont en langues, ce qui était super! Nous aimons nos steaks rares et ils ont été préparés à la perfection. L'atmosphère est mignonne avec une cuisine ouverte et un joli bar et des sièges à l'extérieur. Le prix était très raisonnable....

I love steaks and I like the Block House. Used to go there all the time. Sadly, in the past times, they always fail to match my order. In my past three visits, I ordered my steak rare just to make sure I...get something better than well done. This time, my fries were soggy and my meat on the medium-well side. Sorry, I really wanted to write something nicer but ... I give up. Particularly, since last time my service was so rude that I even contacted senior management at the hq. The response matched the attitude.

We enjoyed our steak with vegetables and turkey with baked potato. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only criticism is the gentleman who took our order (the manager?) offered me water with my wine. I said I would like water from the tap as I believe Germany's water would be totally safe to drink so no need to be unfriendly to the environment by consuming bottled water. The gentleman told me they do not have tap water. Disappointing as I have not had this problem in Germany previously.

The Block House is a steak house, located downtown Rostock and close to most sights. We had a steak and a burger. The steak was very good, made from excellent meat and well prepared, whereas the burger was a disappointment. The meat was firm and...not freshly chopped, not very tasteful. Service was good. Compte tenu de la réputation connue, nous avions prévu de dîner au restaurant Block House, à Rostock. Nous avons commandé pour Rumpsteak, pommes de terre au four et salade fraîche. Vraiment, nous pouvons prétendre avoir mangé l'un des meilleurs steaks de ce voyage. Voudrais visiter à nouveau

Excellent service malgré les heures de pointe pendant le Weihnachtsmarkt à Rostock! Le personnel est super occupé, le téléphone sonne constamment et offre toujours un bon service avec le sourire et de très bons plats! Bravo! Assis au bar pour les boissons et le dîner, a très bien fonctionné

The meat is very good and also the baked potato. The employees are attentive and polite. The only point that they could improve is the dessert. It could have more options of cocktails too. Réservez une table maintenant

We tried MRS. RUMPSTEAK and MR. RUMPSTEAK and Shiraz wine. The meat was perfectly grilled and the wine tasted very good to. And everything to a good price, perfect for us.
