This place was authentic Italian through and through. I was pleasantly surprised the cost of the homemade seafood pasta specials. We got one with lobster and one with shrimp and were 34CFH and 27CFH, respectively, which wasn’t bad as I would expect seafood pastas to be much more in Switzerland where food is quite pricey. The pasta was very tasty and quality perfect. Loved the fresh bread and olive oils on table. The owner knew I liked spicy food and even brought out a special oil from the back for us to try. It was awesome. Good wine list and very friendly owners and staff. Mangia all the way!
The pizza (Margarita, Inferno) is pretty average stuff apart from the price, which is 50%-60% on top of what we have paid for real good pizza elsewhere. The furniture is a funny mix of new wood (that fits nicely) and old dark wood (not aged just ugly). The service is old style Italian with the Capo coming out to welcome his regular guests and hardly realizing the others. Guess we won't make it to the guest's premier league based on the experience.
We did not know where to eat in Gstaad and not much was tempting . Someone gave us this address and we ended eating there several times We loved everything, the service, the professionalism and the kindness of both owners . We loved the food , delicious , and large portions , (e.g crostini with bolet mushrooms , rabbit and polenta , pasta vongole... Just go there , it was a great experience
Simple, Italian cuisine done well! We ordered pizza, pasta, and dessert, and it all tasted fantastic. Unlike many places in the area, it was reasonably priced too, with fantastic wine options also. The owner was also keeping all the customers entertained, and great with kids too. Fabulous place!
