I would rate this restaurant as excellent if it were based on the food alone. Lamb cutlets, Seafood Molly were both standout dishes. New best Indian in North ryde with new manager keen to make a good impression offering complimentary desert. BYO is always good. Only spoiler was the kitchen staff leaving the back door open. It caused a massive chill to pass through the restaurant. Several times we asked for it to be closed, only for the kitchen to reopen. in the middle of winter this is ridiculous. Several people asked to be moved. A few suggestions. Close the rear door. Close off the kitchen to the restaurant or put in better kitchen ventilation. Delicious food. Three of us shared onion bhaji (which are quite spicy), samosa and garlic naan, together with two dishes recommmended to us by the waiter: slipper fish and baby chicken. I gather these were entrees, however we didn't need anythign else after this. All the food was excellent, but the fish was the standout dish - moist, tebnder and absolutely delicious. The baby chicken was prepared tandoori style, and was also moist and delicious. The restaurnat is BYO and, as others have mentioned, parking is easy since it is in Cox's Road shops.
Went here last week with my partner and it was Fantastic! Ordered the Chefs Tandoori platter, Bombay Beef and Butter Chicken, which was the best I've had from any Indian restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious, and highly recommend going to check them out. The only down side is that at North Ryde they don't serve alcohol. Not sure why, however there is a liquor store right next store and it is BYO.
Food was really nice. We are a regular at another local indian restaurant but decided to give Blue GInger a try. They had a function for lunch but were happy to serve us. They clearly knew that we may have to wait a bit longer for our food and provided us with 2 complimentary entrees. The wait wasn't that long and all of our dishes were really nice. We will go back again.

We had the $40 3 course banquet (min 4 people). The selection of dishes was fantastic and included seafood, meats and vegetarian options. The desserts were absolutely delish. Staff were in training and a few dishes were dropped but overall a great night with delicious Indian cuisine.
Food was very good, fresh and tasty. All for a very reasonable price. When came to pay the bill, asked to call for a taxi. Not a big ask, especially late night when the restaurant was empty.... the answer was...dont know the number but u can google it...really?
Under new management. A quiet location easy parking and good food. Good service and you can watch your naan bread being cooked. Try the butter chicken with the naan, best to use your fingers to break up naan and soak up the sauce.

First visit - waited an eternity for a the meal to be delivered. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back for a second visit... this time they delivered the wrong order! Service is woeful and needs to be improved - PRONTO
