We can’t say enough about the ambiance, food, wait staff, owner and manager…. Most especially the hospitality. We just got engaged and this was our first dinner out. Casey the manager brought us out numerous appetizers and glasses or champagne. He even sat down at our table to talk with us. We have never had an experience at a restaurant like we did here. I’ll tell you, it’s simply because Casey. He is the epitome of class, friendship, hospitality and respect. We can’t thank you enough!! We love you Casey!!!! Our serve Liz was amazing as well!!!!! The absolute best!!
6 of us sat in one of the big booths in the taverna. It was quieter than the main dining area, so we could hear. Everything we had was from the Jersey Shore restaurant week special menu, and we had everything on it. ALL was perfectly done presented.Notable was the hot mozzarella with fig jam speck and the branzino. Our wait staff was excellent, especially Liz, who took great care to follow up on allergies and refreshed drinks several times.
We were a large group and our server was attentive and friendly. Everything we ordered was delicious and satisfying. The only negative experience was when we tried to change our reservation from 5 to 6 p.m., but were told they couldn't accommodate us over the phone. However, the restaurant did not seem busy as there were empty tables both inside and outside.
Service was great but the food was disappointing. For $34 I got lemons sole franchises-2 small pieces of fish and 3 spears of broccoli. I walked out hungry. The sole was strangely sweet and I didn’t taste any lemon. My husband had veal Marsala-and it was chewy. Pretty place but they need to step up the food quality for the price.

We had a fantastic evening at Blu Grotto. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was impeccable. We started with creative and delicious appetizers, then enjoyed the Berkshire pork chops and chicken scarpariello. Leaving room for dessert was a challenge because they all sounded amazing. Overall, it was a great meal.
Meals were pricey . Atmosphere was great . The steak we ordered for $52 was terrible They took it off the bill. we then went downstairs to the Beer Garden. that was a blast . They had a live band and the bar tenders were fantastic. Definitely returning to the Beer Garden but probably not the the Grotto.
This place is awesome the band is great... service is good as is the food ...wings, the classic sausage and peppers sub, great apps and of course burgers...Go early get a table...
good parking space, excellent service and the food is delicious!!! everything is more expensive than the conventional, but I really enjoyed the experience and the food

The Blu Grotto is so much fun. Great live entertainment, fresh sushi, pizza and drinks by friendly bartenders. The perfect Summer go-to spot at the Shore.
The food was amazing! From the appetizers to their mains. Amazing selection of wines. The staff are so nice! We will definitely be back!
