Located in a farming district and set back from the road up a short driveway is the Blue Berry Barn. We took a gamble hoping to get a pie or pasty for lunch. We expected a cafe offering all things blueberry. We were greeted by a cage on the patio with some pretty blue birds. When we entered the cafe, we were astonished to see 9 dining tables with starched white cloths, overlaid with a blue designed cloth set at 45 degrees. The cafe had a pleasant subtle sweet perfume aroma. There was not a pie or pasty in the place .... just a comprehensive menu which included choices such as 5 different home baked quiches along with a selection of coffees and teas. Everything was moderately priced and we spe...

A well placed cafe on the longest driving day we (mum and I) did in Tasmania, with the added bonus for us in having a placename cooincidentally relevant to some of our family history. It was great that they have a decent 'tea for two' option. A large crockery teapot plus a top-up jug, so there were at least 5 cups of tea worth, as per one of the pictures I've attached. The crockery and the cafe in general was a joy to experience. Also the little bird cage/aviary outside on the deck with the cute wee birds in it. It was a bit windy this day so nobody was braving outside. If you are travelling between the northwest and places like Beaconsfield / Beauty Point / Batman Bridge / Exeter then this...

Apart from the Blueberry Barn Cafe at Frankford, there are no shops of any kind along the road from Exeter heading towards Latrobe and Devonport. We stopped for breakfast and were the only customers. The lady behind the counter was very warm and friendly. She made us coffee and then started cooking two large country breakfasts. Everything was freshly cooked while we waited and presented nicely on the plates. The prices are OK too. There are lots of little craft items for sale around the cafe to look at while your food is being prepared, and everything is neat and tidy. There is also help yourself table water, and restrooms are inside too. Would stop in again.

Once or twice a year I drive along the Franklin highway and can never resist a stop. This time we sampled their awesome affogato and iced coffee with their magnificent hamburger. The food is great and presentation excellent. Sitting outside with the birds and the Bantam chickens and the birdsus priceless. Service with a smile... If I had to be picky, the toilet was dusty with no hand towel but I'm sure that would've been resolved in a flash. I'll be back!

Being hungry my husband picked the priciest item on the menu: Camelot Farmer Lunch for $17.50. It contained one single slice of ham and one single slice of salami; it had lots of lettuce, tomatoes and cheeses. If you like meat/ being full it is not worth it.On the other hand my Turkish bread with filling and the fresh apple juice and iced coffee were nice. That said I was really upset for my husband's sake.

We went into this Cafe for coffees. There were about 13 of us and the bus driver. It was a very neat well presented Coffee Shop. I've driven past previously and never thought to stop but we will now that we have had great coffee. The menu looked good. Well done for the owners to set this Cafe up.

On the way from Exeter to Devonport. A welcome oasis. Great coffee and snacks. Pleasant country atmosphere and homestyle service and cooking. A great place to revive!

We had a great lunch here, considering there was really not much other option for miles around! We stopped in on our return and had ice cream too. Thanks!
