Blue Bay Mexican Grill

Travellers, this is a wonderful local mexican restaurant with outstanding food. Our lunch, tacos asados, was delicious. The restaurant was very busy and folks eating in the restaurant were talking about the outstanding food. This is a full and extensive mexican restaurant with all kinds of tacos, burritos, chimichangas, fajitas, with seafood, meat, and chicken options. Our tacos had real steak which was great. The restaurant has a perfect, score of 100 from the board of health which is posted on the wall. They even have hamburgers and other fare, as well as an ice cream stand for folks who don't want the Mexican food. But try it. Check it out. We recommend.

If you want good Mexican, this is the place! We were staying in the Townsend area for vacation and really felt like some good Mexican. Well, there aren't many options nearby, but Blue Bay Mexican Grill was the perfect choice! The food was absolutely delicious! They were pretty crowded for post lunch hour pre dinner hour eating, and there was only one waitress on duty, but the service was still great. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their lunch. And the margarita was yummy too. In fact, we were all so full from lunch that no one really even needed dinner! Delicious!

We went for Cinco de Mayo and just beat the dinner rush. The service slowed just a bit but it was understandable. The wait staff were friendly and the food was fantastic. Not to mention the margarita.

Friendly and helpful staff! Under new ownership since about November and they are awesome! Food is hot and fresh, atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable! Love this place!
