Went for dinner out. There were couple of tables had people two reserved. Asked for Conner table that was reserved to sit down waitress politely refused which is find and good customer service I thought. Well attended to the people that was in set the correct expectation of ours that food will take bit longer as we're last Copple to came in at that point and offered papadams ( guess complimentary) with Malay chutney which was good idea. Malay chutney was good. It helped the kill the time with Papadams. We ordered rice, Parippu(dhal) curry, Elu Mas (Goat) Stew, Koththu Roti(another Sri Lankan street food delicacy)
Wonderful! We organized a friend's baby shower at this venue and had the best time. The owner was extremely helpful and made the whole experience easy and stress-free. We were able to get to the venue nice and early to decorate the place and they made sure everything was just easy. The food just topped off our experience - it was absolutely tasty Sri Lankan food and the staff were very diligent with their service. Thank you and Well done!
A restaurant that is lacking in presentation is surpassed by its outstanding menu options. The food is delicious and plentiful.Also a enjoyed a Lion Strong lager with the meal, but at 8:8 only have the one.The service is rather slow but irrelevant as we had a magnificent evening. If you're not in a hurry you won't be disappointed Well worth a visit
Good assortment on the menu of Sri Lankan and Indian food plus some western food if you're not in the mood for some spice. I had lamb , rice and a hopper - all tasty and well presented. The waitress was very helpful describing to diners what to expect from the menu. Pricing is good too.

We were a group of 10 who visited this restaurant and decided on a buffet. The food provided was top class as was the service from the manager to table staff. Priced well considering we had a bottle of bubbly, soft drinks and Sri Lankan beer. Definitely no complaints. Recommend to try.
The Blue Elephant recently catered for my event and the food was great. I had lots of positive feedback about the food. They also set up all the plates/glasses/cutlery/napkins and take it all away at the end of the night. Waitstaff are lovely.
What an excellent dinner at the Sri Lanka restaurant. The food is excellent and superbly presented. The options offer a wide range of menu options. Will certainly be back Egg hoppers are brilliant as is the roti !!
This excellent local restaurant is situated near the station and tends to get busy during lunchtime, which is no surprise considering their fantastic lunch specials.

Having grown up with Sri Lankan food I can say without any doubt that the food from the Blue Elephant is very authentic. What's more the price was very reasonable.
