For my birthday I fancied seafood so my wife researched this place. Was a bit of a journey for the family but thankfully it lived up to the reviews. My father is traveled and knows his oysters. The staff kindly answered all his questions and even brought him out a free oyster to sample. It wasn't milky as he had feared so we ordered more. Presumably the owner or manager came over to talk about where he gets everything from and the reason I mention this is because you can tell they are passionate about having the best they can source.The menu does cater for a few non-seafood dishes but everyone at the table had seafood starters and mains. The fish was well-cooked and delicious, but much of the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired. Firstly, it was highly overpriced over for two courses for two people with one drink each. In particular my starter was a total...rip-off for just three of the smallest scallops I have ever seen. The sauteed potatoes that we both ordered with our mains were not very nice at all soggy, oily, with a slightly odd flavour and only just cooked and per portion. Expensive food and poor quality. Our family tried a variety of dishes, but none blew us away and for the price we expected much more! When we arrived we were the only ones in the restaurant. Our first visit and hopefully not our last, the food,staff and atmosphere were perfect. The Seafood was probably some of the best I've ever eaten, the oysters were amazing and very fresh. The only one drawback was my wife had lobster which was on the small side and had she known would have ordered something else, but they are seasonal and expected but would have been nice to be told.Apart from that amazing food and highly recommended
So..I m not good at words but I m good in tasting food and cook it as well. This restautant in my opinion ..in regards sea food is on top London. Don t trust me ? Come and give me a reply after!
