My wife and I have been visiting this restaurant for many years, and they consistently impress us with their innovative ideas, new coffees, baked goods, and more. We often swing by when we’re heading to or from church or Peninsula State Park. They offer some fantastic dishes, particularly their chicken curry salad, breakfast burritos, and chicken burritos, as well as a delicious pasta side option. The coffee selection is extensive, and they also serve amazing cinnamon buns! Whether you choose to relax with a lunch on their patio or enjoy the view of the Bay from their lovely wrap-around four-season room, this place is a great spot to unwind.
The coffee shop has a fantastic location! There’s seating available right by the lake, which is lovely. The selection of coffee is impressive! I tried a sugar-free mocha with almond milk, and it was prepared quickly and just the way I wanted. Their menu includes clearly labeled vegan options, which is great. However, I did encounter some issues at the register. The employee didn’t seem to be paying attention when I placed my order; I had to repeat my name multiple times, even spelling it out for them, and I also had to go over my order several times.
Blue Horse Beach Cafe was such a fun stop! My husband and I loved the drinks we got, he got a double espresso and I got a large iced chai, my chai was pretty milky, but still delicious. We waited for 15 minutes before going up to ask where our drinks were. They had lost them in the business and kindly made them right away. It was no problem at all and they were super nice about it giving us a cookie for our troubles. Overall it was a great experience, the staff was very sweet!
Food was fine... after waiting 20 minutes on just a chocolate croissant and a cinnamon roll!! I thought my girlfriend ordered a sandwich which was the reason for delay when I figured out she just got a cinnamon roll i was already done with my coffee and looked over to see the people behind the counter eating over the register counter. Definitely won't be back!

Can’t go wrong here. Excellent coffee good service and a great view. Breakfast burrito was excellent. Scones are great too. Flavorful and moist. Great place to stop in the morning.
This is a fantastic spot for a quick breakfast, and the coffee is exceptional. It's a bit small, so if it's busy, you may have to wait a little for your food and drinks.
We stopped by for breakfast and found out you can't even get a scrambled egg on a sandwich here. Everything came in to-go containers. No option for eating in.
